On NPR’s Weekend Edition, Joe asked whether “Crescit Eundo” — “It grows as it goes” — still captures the promise of New Mexico, and proposed a clearer vision for the Land of Enchantment.
His proposed motto, “Antiqua Suspice, Crastina Accipe,” means “Cherish the past. Embrace the future.” It reflects the same theme running through Joe’s campaign: respect what shaped New Mexico while choosing a better direction for what comes next.
